Conversation on Flooring Renovations

This weeks’ episode is the conclusion of Jeanette and Kevin’s conversation on flooring renovations. What is the role of the client in ensuring a postive outcome to their project? Watch to find out some helpful tips!

Getting a renovation done on your home is really exciting! Perhaps you have been living in the same space since your kids were little and now you are ready to finally update it. Or maybe you bought a fixer-upper and the funds and time to do do the work have become available. Whatever the reason for the decision to do the upgrade, it is a fun experience that can remain fun with a little bit of foresight and planning.

If you’ve never undertaken a flooring renovation before, perhaps try finding someone in your social circle who has. Who did they hire for the work? What did they enjoy about it? What would they have wished had been done differently? Having some information about the process and where the possible pain points may be goes a long way to starting the renovation process off on the right foot.

Having completed thousands upon thousands of flooring renovations, Ethical Flooring has a pretty good idea on how things should proceed. That being said, every home is unique, as is every client! Our advice would be active in advocating for what your vision is for your project. Ask questions, and be sure to bring up your ideas on how you imagine certain things being done. Without specific input we will complete the work according to our experience and industry best practices; so if you have a vision that you are hoping to achieve have a conversation with your Ethical Flooring Project Manager; that is what they are hired to do!

If you would like to come and speak to any member of the Ethical Flooring team about your upcoming project, including a chance to discuss your plans and vision for your project, you are always welcome to visit our North Vancouver showroom! Details can be found here: https://ethicalflooring.com/contact-us/. Alternatively, if you would like to start the conversation online, or with a dedicated showroom appointment, please book through our convenient online calendar.
