COMMITMENT TO USING WOOD FROM SUSTAINABLE SOURCES
CRAFT values the principles of sustainability, and has acted on those values. As a result of our commitment, the wood used in every CRAFT floor has been certified by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI) to have come from North American forests that are managed responsibly and sustainability. We feel that this is a significant achievement, because few other hardwood flooring manufacturers (if any) have made this level of commitment to sustainability. This commitment, evidenced by our SFI® Chain of Custody Certification, allows us to trace the wood used in our products all the way back to a certified sustainable forest. The result is that environmentally conscious end users can trust the wood used to make a CRAFT floor, because it’s been certified by an independent third-party to be legal, responsible and sustainable.
